💼 Position: Administrative Secretary/Treasurer

📍 Location: Based in Quill Lake, SK; Work From Home/Remote; some travel required for meetings, computer provided.

📋 Job Overview:

As our Administrative Secretary/Treasurer, you will be responsible for managing the administrative and financial tasks of the Association. Your key responsibilities will include:

📌 Maintaining accurate financial records and accounts of the Watershed (using Quickbooks).

📌 Assisting in budget preparation and financial reporting.

📌 Handling correspondence via mail, email and phone.

📌 Participating in board meetings with financial reporting and Minute taking

📌 Organizing and maintaining documents and files.

📌 Providing support to executives and board members as required.

 

🎯 Qualifications:

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

🔹Experience in finance, business or municipal administration, or a related administrative role.

🔹 A practical understanding of QuickBooks, or related accounting software

🔹 Strong organizational abilities.

🔹 Access to scanner, printer, and internet – Computer and software provided.

🔹 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

🔹 Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

🔹 Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

 

💡 What We Offer:

Being a part of the Quill Lakes Watershed Association, you can expect:

✨ Approximately 8-10 hours of work per month

✨ Wage expectancy – $23 – $25/hr depending on experience

✨ Work independently from home with the ability to attend monthly meetings

✨ The chance to make a meaningful impact for all of those living within the Watershed

The Quill Lakes Watershed Association no. 14 was formed under the Water Security Agency to proactively manage water and land resources within the Quill Lakes Basin. Our board, representing the rural and municipal areas within the watershed, meets on a regular basis to discuss, coordinate, and plan long term solutions for the issues affecting the Quill Lakes Watershed Basin. Our objective is to maintain the health and wellbeing of the environment, while providing adequate water flow through the region.
